Review principles

Fair, constructive, confidential

Reviews should focus on the work rather than the authors. Personal criticism, unsupported claims, and requests that promote a reviewer’s own work are not appropriate.

Reviewers should contact the editorial office promptly if they cannot complete a review or identify a serious ethical concern.
